1st cross-sectional area

Cross-sectional area for example of a pipe at a certain point. With a large cross-section, the flow velocity \(v_1\) of the fluid is small.

1st flow velocity

Velocity with which the fluid flows through the cross-sectional area \(A_1\).

2nd cross-sectional area

Unit
Cross-sectional area for example of a pipe at a different location. The pipe could have different cross sections at two different locations. For example, the smaller cross-section (pipe narrowing) may have cross-sectional area \(A_2\).

2nd flow velocity

Unit
Velocity with which the fluid flows through the cross-sectional area \(A_2\).
