Centripetal force \(\boldsymbol{F}_{\text z}\) acts on a body of mass \(m\), which is in a uniform circular motion. The centripetal force is always perpendicular to the angular velocity \(\boldsymbol{\omega}\). And the angular velocity \(\boldsymbol{\omega}\) is perpendicular to the circular path with the radius \( r \).
