An ideal LC resonant circuit only consists of a coil with inductance \( L \) and a capacitor with capacitance \( C \). There is no voltage source.

Since the oscillating circuit has no ohmic resistance (i.e. it is ideal), the electrical energy in the capacitor is converted lossless into magnetic energy at the coil and vice versa.
