Voltage-current characteristic of an ohm conductor (U-I characteristic) for two resistors of different sizes \(R\). Ohmic conductors are characterized by the fact that voltage is proportional to current. This results in a straight line in the diagram. The slope of the straight line corresponds to the electrical resistance \(R\).

The greater the resistance, the steeper the straight line.
