Plot of the magnetic field $$B$$ of a Helmholtz coil along the symmetry axis $$z$$. Here, the two currents in the coils circle in the same direction, which leads to the fact that the magnetic field between the coils is approximately homogeneous (constant).

In addition, the magnetic fields $$B_1(z)$$ and $$B_2(z)$$ generated by the individual coils were plotted. Their sum gives the total magnetic field $$B(z)$$ of the Helmholtz coil along the symmetry axis.
